Professor Richard Longman Receives Humboldt Award

In June, Professor Longman officially received the Alexander von Humboldt Research Award for Lifetime Research Achievement at an award ceremony in Berlin, Germany. Part of the ceremony was a reception hosted by the President of Germany.

Professor Richard Longman has been elected the recipient of a Humboldt Research Award in recognition of lifetime achievements in research. In addition, he is invited to carry out research projects of his own choice in cooperation with specialist colleagues in Germany.
