Research Opportunities: On Board the International Space Station

Join the Center for the Advancement of Science in Space (CASIS) and Columbia University for an introductory and interactive discussion on utilizing the nation's newest and most unique research platform and National Laboratory: The International Space Station. The discussion will be held at the Davis Auditorium (412 CEPSR) on Wednesday, December 18, 2013 from 11:00am - 1:00pm (lunch will be served).

Featured speakers will include:

  • Greg Johnson - President & Executive Director (CASIS)
  • Duane Ratliff - Chief Operating Office (CASIS)
  • Julie Robinson, Ph.D - ISS Program Scientist (NASA)

The afternoon will be hosted by former NASA Astronaut and Columbia alumnus Michael Massimino and Professor Gordana Vunjak-Novakovic from the Department of Biomedical Engineering.
