Welcome back!

Welcome to the Spring '24 semester! We are excited to continue our projects and events this semester. General body meetings are back every Monday at 8PM in Mudd 644! More information on Slack. Stay tuned for more updates!

PacBot update

The PacBot subteam is currently working on improving the robot's decision module with the use of machine learning. There also remains work to be done on the robot's mechanical design and electrical systems. Meetings every Sunday at 3PM. More information on Slack.

New website!

We have a new website! The old website served us well, but it was time for a change. This new website was built from the ground up and should be a lot easier to navigate. If you have any feedback or suggestions, please let us know on Slack!

Projects


MATE-ROV

An underwater autonomous vehicle that competes in the MATE ROV competition. The robot has to complete a series of tasks in a simulated underwater environment.

PacBot

PacBot is a small autonomous robot that navigates a physical PacMan maze to collect pellets and avoid ghosts. The team participates in different competitions throughout the year where it competes against other universities.

Autonomous Vehicles

A team of students working on an F1 themed autonomous vehicles, on a 1/10th scale.

Welcome to the Columbia University Robotics Club (CURC), a community open to all Columbia/Barnard students intrigued by robotics, autonomous systems, artificial intelligence, and beyond!
Whether you're an undergraduate, graduate student, faculty, or staff member from any major or background, we invite you to join us. Our collaborative environment fosters learning and teamwork in these dynamic and burgeoning fields. No previous experience is required to participate in CURC; we embrace members of all skill levels.
Our overarching goal is to explore and engage in new endeavors within the realm of robotics.
